What we use
Signing in gives the site an account identifier, email address and any name shared by your sign-in provider. We store submitted listing information and photos, saved stays associated with your account, listing-review history and listing-payment status. Full-hosting, promotion and sponsorship inquiries include the name, email address, business or property name, website, region and message you submit, together with private review notes and status.
Who sees what
Published descriptions, amenities, photos, the host’s display name and direct website or Facebook link are visible to visitors. A contact email address or phone number is public only when the host explicitly enters it as a public contact field. Account sign-in details are not automatically used as public contact details. New host map pins are approximate. Account email addresses and internal review or payment records are not public listing information.
Direct host websites
Checking availability, arranging a stay, sharing guest contact information and making rental payments happen on the host’s website or page. That service handles information under its own privacy terms. Basic listings do not create a Mitten Stays booking or calendar. Selected hosted stays show the property website’s calendar and request form inside this site. The embedded form sends your information directly to that property’s existing request service, where its hosts can review it and receive an email notification. The property’s privacy terms are linked beside the form. Mitten Stays receives only a display-height message from the embedded form, not your form entries. No rental payment is collected in these booking-request forms. Other managed services are configured separately before activation.
Service inquiries
Hosting, promotion and sponsorship requests are saved privately for the Mitten Stays team to review and respond to. Applicant contact details and internal notes are not published or shared with listed hosts or sponsors. Submitting a service request does not subscribe you to marketing messages or authorize payment.
Listing payments
Annual listing and hosting billing arrangements are confirmed with the host before activation. Submitting a listing or service inquiry does not authorize payment or automatic renewal. When payment processing is enabled, the payment provider handles secure payment details. Mitten Stays stores payment references, status and the relevant authorization, not full card numbers. The payment provider processes payment information under its own privacy terms.
Saved places and maps
Saved favorites may be kept on your device and, when signed in, in your account. Interactive maps use OpenStreetMap tiles; loading the map sends normal web request information, such as your IP address, to that service.
Information we do not import
Hosts provide rental information directly. Mitten Stays does not import listings from or collect links to other booking marketplaces.
