Camp Two Hearted
Newberry, Michigan · Hosted by The Camp Two Hearted families
The Camp Two Hearted families · Independent Michigan host
A little room to get away.
Ten private acres above the legendary Two Hearted River in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The main cabin and separate bunkhouse are rented together for one group. Two semi-private queen sleeping rooms have curtain doors; an open loft adds two twins, and the bunkhouse has four queen beds arranged as bunks. This is a self-reliant, off-grid camp with solar power and generator support, propane heat, a wood stove, a screened porch, trails and river views. Firewood and generator fuel are provided. Facilities are rustic: a vault or portable toilet and seasonal outdoor shower, with no indoor bathroom. Bring drinking water, bedding and towels. Guests clean the camp before departure, so there is no cleaning fee. A steep river path and seasonal roads require planning; winter access may require snowmobiles. Confirm current access and conditions with the hosts. The primary guest must be at least 25 and complete the host’s photo-ID review before confirmation.
